My motto is “Commitment to quality and Customer service.”I have been in the HVAC industry off and on since I was 16. In 2005, we moved to Lake Elizabeth. I had always wanted to have my own business. We began researching, and for one thing, it seemed at that time that finding reliable services in the Lakes and Valleys was impossible. Either people would make appointments and fail to show up or perform substandard work. As a result, we had a family meeting that involved our daughter, myself, and my wife (who became known as AC Wife). Our family agreed that we had something to offer our community. With this in mind, we were willing to do this together. As a result, I am involved in every job from start to finish. Furthermore, I wanted AC Dave Heating & Air to reflect all the great things I learned over the years, particularly customer satisfaction, which is most importantly #1. As a matter of fact, we value honesty and take pride in our work. In addition, at AC Dave Heating & Air, we have over 40 years of experience in the residential and commercial HVAC service and installation industry.
Family Business
My daughter Brianna was instrumental in obtaining the necessary paperwork to open our doors. For example, our DBA came from a nickname I was given, “A/C Dave”, along with my business license, etc. Not to mention we knew we wanted to have a home-based business. We set up an office, bought a truck, hired a helper, and officially opened the doors to AC Dave Heating & Air on June 1, 2006. In addition to honesty and pride in our workmanship, we have continued to be family-owned and operated since 2006. Initially, we began advertising locally in the Yoddeler, our small town newspaper. I also spent time at Heart N Soul at the local coffee shop, which Kat and Warren BeMiller owned then, and got to know the townspeople. As a result, we have also been involved in community events such as the Green Valley Parade for the past few years. My grandson, Dean, accompanied me on service calls when he was young and became a helper. Now, he’s in the office and works with Daniel, Brianna’s autistic son.
AC Dave Technicians
We currently have three technicians: Leo, James, and AC Dave, this year, 2024, and James, who started with us as a helper. In addition, AC Dave believes in on-the-job training; our technicians usually begin as helpers and learn the HVAC field from the bottom up. We have expanded to three trucks, technicians, office staff members, and advertising consultants.
At AC Dave Heating & Air, we stand by the quality of our work. We are NATE-certified technicians. North American Technician Excellence (NATE) Certified technicians are trusted in your home or commercial property.

Better Business Bureau (BBB), California Contractors State License Board (CSLB), The Electric & Gas Industries Association (EGIA), Institute of Heating and Air Conditioning Industries (IHACI), Air Conditioning Contractors of America ( ACCA), and North American Technician Excellence (NATE). Each of our NATE-certified technicians has an excellent understanding of today’s sophisticated heating and cooling systems. Equally important is that each technician is licensed, insured, and backed by factory training and EPA certifications. AC Dave is involved in every aspect of every job, residential and commercial installation, or service. Therefore he established AC Dave Heating & Air in June 2006. Consequently, he wanted his company to reflect all the great things he learned over the years working in the field, from Customer satisfaction being #1 to honesty and pride in our workmanship.
We have been family-owned & operated since 2006. We do repairs and install all brands: Trane, Rheem, Ruud, Day & Night, and Daikin, Cooper Hunter, to name a few.

In 2023, I dealt with a broken AC unit, but I had a home warranty, so I had nothing to fear, right? WRONG! The home warranty sent out a repair guy three times who still didn’t get my AC up and running… which was dangerous for my household considering my dad lives with me and he is a bedridden, disabled cancer patient who has a trach. Having running AC in the house is vital to helping him breathe! After being at my wits end (and almost a week with no air), I called out AC Dave to get the problem diagnosed and fixed and my house cooling again.I hear a metal slapping noise outside
Fast forward to last week… I go outside and see that it’s my AC unit making the noise and violently vibrating. I go to get my phone to video it for the repairman and before I get to the door, I hear a loud “clank” and then all noise stops. I walk back over to my AC unit to see that the motor and the fan is still attached by wiring, but it has dismounted and is laying on its side inside the AC unit!I called AC Dave Heating & Air and he came to the rescue!
Because he knew having running AC in my home was a medical emergency, he was prompt in getting to me and within a few hours my AC was working flawlessly again! He not only takes good customer service very seriously, but he treats customers as individuals and understands their individual/specific needs and emergencies. Thanks AC Dave! T. Everything went well. We’ve been using AC Dave since the installation of our system in 2007. We keep going back for a reason. On this particular job, I was struck by the unfortunate sticker shock of current refrigerant pricing, but this is the market, not Dave. I would refer anyone to Dave (just did a couple of days back) unreservedly.

Ac Dave just did my installation. It was done in two days. He does not cut Corners and uses quality materials. I used him because I knew the job would be done right. There are a lot of half-assed tradesmen out there.

BTW…I had my whole HVAC system done by AC DAVE and even added an additional Vent to the lower wall to are stairs…Dave and his crew were completely professional with the install. The sytem works wonderful..we are very pleased.Love you buddy Highly recommend !!

AC Dave Gives Back in Honor of His Daughter
In 2014, my oldest daughter Brianna was killed by a semi-truck on Highway 138 near Llano, CA. She was walking along the highway, and the driver was not watching the road. She suffered from mental illness and addiction.
Furthermore, I did not want her remembered as just another person who died in the desert but as the giving person she was. Recently, my mother-in-law told my wife that she would loan her a jacket and return without it because “someone needed it more.” When she had a place to stay, she took people in, and she would share with others.
Our family started a nonprofit in 2018, whose mission is to help families in recovery and victims of domestic violence. We have assisted over 50 families with toys, clothes, food, diapers, and complete holiday meals. We host two fundraisers a year, one in April. My daughter was killed on March 30th, and in October, her birthday was October 6th.
BBMS Happy Children Memorial Fund, a 501c3, honors my daughter’s memory of helping others. If you know someone who could use assistance, email bbmshappychildren@gmail.com. Brianna graduated from Valencia High School.
The class of 1998 was the first four-year graduating class. In 2025, we will be working with Valencia HS to assist with tux rentals, gowns, flowers, and prom tickets for seniors who have been affected by domestic violence or addiction.
